About Me

Hi. I am Isabel from Isabalance. I am 65 years old and feel very youthful, since I started Pilates. 

I love horse riding. I have had issues with lack of confidence with riding. I have fallen off a few times but also I was nervous, about not being a good rider, not just scared I might fall. I improved my confidence over time with Confidence Coaching, and Pilates. I learnt to get out of my comfort so I could improve my skill in horse riding. Therefore I want to help you with your horse riding.

I have always been curious about Pilates but when I experienced low back pain, particularly whilst horse riding, I decided to finally try it. There was no going back. I have no back pain, and when I ride (after not riding for 5 years) there is still NO backpain. So, at 65, I would say age does not come with limits. Do not be defined by your age.

I experienced bullying in the workplace, and decided it was time to leave and continue my Pilates Teaching journey. It was 11 years ago when I started my Pilates teaching journey. I am so passionate about Pilates, I really wanted to help others to reduce back and general aches and pains and become more flexible. In so doing you can move more freely and feel better both physically and therefore mentally.

Pilates is a great form of exercise to release your body and therefore help to perform everyday activities with ease, such as, playing with the children/grandchildren, gardening, cooking, cleaning and of course horse riding.

I will help you to improve your posture, which helps you to feel, look and move better. But importantly helps you to ride better, helps the performance of your horse. And helps to have a more secure seat and improve your confidence no end.
